What FMVSS 108 asks for at the rear
- Two stop lamps, two tail lamps and two turn signals, mounted symmetrically.
- Rear reflex devices, and side clearance and marker lamps depending on width.
- A license plate lamp that illuminates the plate without glare to the rear.
- Over 80 inches wide: a three-lamp identification bar at the top of the rear, plus intermediate side markers.
How we build it
- Photometry is designed against the clause from the first CAD revision, not checked at the end.
- Candela distribution is measured on site, then confirmed by U.S.-based testing laboratories.
- Every lamp is sonically or potting sealed and air-leak tested on the line.
